What you’re looking for is the answers to these questions: 1) what does each person need? 2) can the other provide enough of whatever that is? 3) is there a reasonable balance of what each person needs and the other can provide, a balance on both sides of the equation?

So I looked at my progressed chart for the day I got married: my progressed sun was a degree away from the natal DSC. There were other indicators as well, in both our charts; along with ties in both the natal and the progressed. You could say I was fated to marry at that time. Eventually, my pDSC will hit pUranus and that is fate as well. Admittedly, it’s up to my spouse and me how we deal with that future turbulence. It may end well or it may end badly, but come it will. And for me, it would have come no matter who I had married.
A friend I’ve never met has his pMC on the same degree as my natal ASC and it’s looking likely that we’ll be meeting soon for the first time. Another new friend has his pDCS conjunct my natal ASC. These are people I’ve encountered recently, and the mirroring of the axes make me wonder if we meant to meet at this time.

So, the next one on June 26 opposes my Jupiter and squares my nodes. HMMMMMMMMM. Should I be worried about that?
Time to post the How To Deal With Eclipses guide link.

In our search for that opening, we may first have to reach some kind of closure. Inherent in every new beginning is an ending, and that’s the phase I believe we’re in now. Lots of things are ending, and many of us are in denial about it. That goes for relationships, too. Pluto, at the apex of the T-square, requires us to let go. If we attempt to hang onto what’s falling apart, if we refuse to make necessary changes, the stress and pressure on us will only get worse.

"You see, aliens will be landing. But, don't worry... everything will be just fine, and life will go on as usual. Stay calm. Some of them have landed already. They've landed in your work place and your relationships and in your head.
They haven't hatched their insidious alien plan just yet. As a matter of fact, they're likely laying low right now. If you think back over the last week or so, you probably even know what department of your life they landed in... but even if you don't, don't worry. There will be more to come.
Funny thing about when aliens land, if you've seen many movies on the subject: it's always so quiet at first. Then a dog or a teenager goes missing... but of course there's a "reasonable" explanation for it. The one person who thinks they know otherwise? Always branded as a kook. Eventually though... what was quietly brewing hatches out, and all of a sudden it's Big Time Ugly out there."
Alternately...
"fI you’re an energy sensitive (and most of us are these days), you may be blowing out light bulbs, computer boards, iPods, and iPhones. You may be tapping your foot incessantly or wide awake at three am. The muscles where you typically hold tension may be tight. You might feel extra touchy and easily unnerved.
The Sky Gods weren’t known for their peace and calm. Their bold yang energy is best used for creative projects, so hopefully you’ve got work that engages and excites you. But in the meantime, pay attention. Observe your new level of electrical energy and try to integrate it more smoothly into your system. Focus the energy into your central channel, which is designed to carry this current. Grounding exercises are also good. Send the energy out through the soles of your feet and deep into the earth, past the little creatures in the soil, past the bones of your ancestors, through the underground rivers, into the heart and core of Gaia. Breathe up her gratitude, and send it out through the top of your head, into the stars, and beyond. Continue this for a few rounds. Also, tune into the root chakra at the base of your spine; energy may have collected there. Get it flowing. Physical exercise is fabulous. So is doing all those neglected chores around your house. It’s amazing the problems you can solve while cleaning your windows and mirrors. This energy wants to be used!"

In my experience, this is especially delightful for those of us who are amidst a deep self re-definition or self re-generation. Mirroring my own process, a handful of my clients are on the threshold of breaking from past and moving toward a future of their own making. One client said that every time she sits down to make a list of ‘goals’ she is filled with dread. After turning over the word ‘dread’ in the context of a potential past life wound of dying young, I asked that part of her if she was afraid that she had no future at all. She replied, yes. She was deeply afraid of desire, because by desiring what she most wanted to have in her future, she thought she might not get it.
Desire, want, passion, temptation. Hot words, potent words for Aries. Those words could start a fire in our soul, or set a dry and lifeless field to flames. It may feel dangerous. Yet by not allowing the hot, burning, combustible power of desire to permeate our consciousness, we risk having no life at all. No future. Or not one we want to inhabit, anyway. With this combo at our side, when we move toward the wild and wonderful energy of our own authentic truth, we will court what I like to call ‘plucky luck’: our wide –open spirit of adventure sends an SMS to the angels, saying ‘I’m ready to do this’, thus giving opportunity the chance to knock.
Trust you me. Good things are near. This is a heady pair, and one radical act can pack a punch. It may feel risky. It may require us to break rules, and the rules may be so deeply internalized that we don’t realize we have them until we’re about to spontaneously combust from the pressure. There are no guarantees about how things will turn out, either. As my teacher Steven Forrest says (about Aries), ‘You’ve got to break a few eggs to make an omelet.’
Scared yet? Here’s how you know you’re on the right track: we feel scared… but excited by our new truth. We feel scared… but happy to be liberated from a lie. We feel scared but… freer to move forward into a future that we want to be in. Your future may depend on turning fear into excitement…but you don’t have to muster up the courage to care. The future doesn’t care what you choose to do, or not do. The future will happen anyway. Whether you’re staring out the window, or at the wheel.
Love this.
So... well, a revelation hit me this week. Several. GO FIGURE. Even more fun is when you get someone else to verify the crazy revelations. AWESOME.
2013 is going to be an INTERESTING YEAR, y'all. Hoooooooooo boy. Like, if I told people what I found out today, y'all would think I'm crazy.
In other news, I highly recommend this book, Divination: Sacred Tools For Reading The Mind Of God. It's not a beginner's guide to divination so much as it is musings on the entire subject of it. I was pretty impressed. Plus I gotta love a guy who thinks of divination as reading the mind of God (so true!). Also recommended if you are having calling
issues.

Taurus (April 19-May 20)
I’m sure you’ve had one of those dreams where you discover you have a new wing in your house, or that a closet leads to a whole other building. These dreams seem to have one thing in common, which is how normal the discovery is, like the thing was always there, and how could you have missed it? That is the approximate feeling of your astrology this month: an inner dimension opening and welcoming you in, but one that was always there. You may be inclined to respond as if this is ‘not really happening’. You may doubt: how do you know if this discovery is really you, or the product of your imagination? (Clue, it is both at the same time.) You don’t have to ask questions. If you want to do something practical, step across the inner threshold and see for yourself. The feeling is the calling of any potential, talent or dream that has opened up for you lately. The inner space that’s opening up has different rules. You can, for example, say yes to yourself. You don’t have to define your reality with fear, or honor the limits that fear previously set. In fact you don’t need to believe anything that you previously believed, and furthermore, you can define who you are as a mystery rather than something, or someone, who you’re supposed to be able to predict. If you can get past how nervous this might make you, you’ll have a lot of fun.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
You have often let your work define you. The time has arrived for you to define yourself and your work. Depending on who you are this will be one of the most creative phases of your life, or a phase where you feel so confined that you begin a revolution, so that you can do more of what you want. I would remind you that we live in a society that alternately signals us with ‘do what you love and you will prosper’ and, to the contrary, ‘why do you think they call it work?’ Even those who find themselves highly successful in a chosen field can find themselves confined by their schedule, their creative demands and by a routine. In recent years, something else has taken over, which is your willingness to take risks, and to enrich yourself creatively. Some of the experiments have worked, some have not, but one thing is clear: you are determined to express yourself. This, in turn, translates into determined to be free within your environment: but it translates to something deeper, which is standing uncompromisingly in your truth, and taking action only from there. You can do this; I propose that you’ll discover that the barriers and reasons you felt you could not do this were a kind of mirage. These, in turn, will reveal the deeper material that you can work out through your process of self-creation, which is creative process, which is your personal form of art: yours and yours alone.

The whole thing is just wigging me out. Dear god, I DON'T WANT IT IN MY SIXTH HOUSE.
Okay, so technically that's not happening until 2011, but still. I'd rather it skip ahead to my seventh, because I actually look forward to that transit crazy. Hey, since odds are I won't have any change in my non-dating status until then, it can't be bad for me or end my marriage or anything, so what the hell.
Transiting Uranus in Aries wants you to throw the shackles off this part of your life and choose freedom. Something in that part of life is making you feel a little bogged down, a little dragged down. Something in that corner of your world isn’t flowing and feels stale. It’s time to make a change, the planet says. Time to shake things up and move ahead with some new things. Uranus is famous for sudden flashes of insight. The message here is about allowing your instinctive wisdom to act (Aries) on new information that could set you free (Uranus).
Jupiter on Uranus’ heels brings the element of risk to all of this. Jupiter wants you to leap into some rad new beginning, especially when it hits Aries (still in Pisces at the moment). Jupiter doesn’t want to hear anything but YES, I WILL LEAP IN THIS RAD NEW DIRECTION. Add that to Uranus stirring things up and you’ve got the potential for a potent cocktail to make changes to things very quickly and for good.
Jupiter coming in will soon ask us if we will choose to have faith (Jupiter) in our instincts (Aries). We will already have had the sudden flashes of insights about new avenues and activities with Uranus in Aries. Jupiter wants to know if we will have faith enough in ourselves to do something meaningful about what we have seen, to leap into new ways of being.
And also:
Uranus in one’s job sector often correlates with a lot more job movement in all kinds of ways. Sometimes your own job will remain stable, but your co-workers will come and go, or there’ll be a lot of turnover at your workplace. Often you’ll switch jobs, or the workplace will become a lot more busy, or your work will involve a lot more running around. Uranus in Aries will generally set a goal of improving your work and work environment but will often engage in a lot of experimentation before settling on the right situation, and he may get all entrepreneurial, part-timey, or free-lance happy in the process. You may also have to learn a lot of new techniques to keep up with Uranus’s upgrade plans. In general, it is wise to figure out what you really want from a job and set out to get it, because Uranus is going to try to go after it anyway. You might as well be a willing and conscious participant in the process.
Hearing that I will want to BREAK FREEEEEEEEEEEEE of my job and suddenly start my own business because I can't stand The Man any more is making me grit my teeth like hell. For one thing uh, yeah, been sort of annoyed at that way back when Uranus was in Pisces, so that's not fresh and new information. But since I don't have any effing idea what else to do, breaking freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee is not gonna happen, thanks, because I like the freeeeeeeeeeeeeedom that comes with being able to buy groceries when I need 'em. Freedom and work do not mix, in my view. I have zero interest in being an entrepreneur and I've tried enough times over the years to know that I don't like it. What I WANT is something where I get stable pay/employment while doing various projects...oh, wait, that doesn't exist.
I can't say that I have any more goddamned insight as to What To Do Differently than I have in the last three years since I started severely angsting on the topic. Sorry, no lightning bolts of job inspiration yet.
So, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. No leaping without any idea of what direction to even leap in, please.
On second thought..my bad, apparently there's a buttload of retrogrades between now and then, so it won't actually hit my sixth cusp until my birthday in 2013...that year'll be a real lulu, but I figured that anyway. But yeah, THREE YEARS MORE OF STALLING WOOT!
