"Vertex contacts, no matter what end of the axis they hit, assist the process of that divinity directly. This is why Vertex contacts often seem to come ‘out of the blue,’ with no hint, no trace, no preparation. It’s because Vertex contacts aren’t part of a process. We can’t figure out the ‘why’ of a Vertex contact, it just is–and usually the sense of ‘fate’ comes from the fact that something or someone is provided just at the point it is most needed; whether or not we ever knew that we needed it before. In an odd way, the Vertex acts as a secret and sacred ‘helping hand.’ It’s almost Uranian in the way it operates: we might suspect something on the way if a big transit to the Vertex is due, but we have a hard time guessing how it might manifest. And honestly, if we can guess, it usually means that what we guessed is precisely what won’t happen. We might be anticipating a lover, but Vertex contacts are just as likely to manifest as an offer, a friendship, or a turn of mind that takes us down a road we would never have anticipated. We might not even notice the impact until the transit or progression is long past. One of my most profound Vertex transits happened on the day I was offered a new job–the loss of which, a short time later, enabled me to establish myself as a full time astrologer. Without that job (and the loss of it), I wouldn’t be here.
Conjunctions to either end of the axis are the most profoundly felt. Vertex contacts help to reveal our divine fate, but conjunctions to the anti-Vertex are no less profound. The anti-Vertex allows us to process our divinity through the vehicle of ‘other’–when other’s planets fall on our anti-Vertex, we reveal ourselves through the ‘not I.’ Often, anti-Vertex contacts involve commitment and sacrifice beyond the call of duty, and we usually don’t mind fulfilling those commitments because we feel the divine pulse of our own spirit gradually unveiling in our actions. The point of all Vertex contacts is to reveal ourselves from a perspective that is higher and deeper than ordinary conscious awareness. In a way, the Vertex is beyond the Nodes, which are all about the development of consciousness. The Vertex unveils the “Watcher,” in us. The one who knows. The one who is beyond the conscious Self.
Squares from one chart to another’s Vertex axis will stimulate this ‘Self beyond self.’ The Vertex is not an energy that we wrestle with or try to develop, or struggle to integrate. It just is."
Cancerfullmoontoday? Doesn't hit anything in my chart particularly majorly, but still, considering that it's (a) the anniversary of my dad's death and (b) theoretically I will get to move back into my apartment, knowing it's going to be Emotional Crazytimes is... UGH.
Taurus (April 19-May 20) -- This is a gutsy, stellar moment for you professionally,
Actually, 100% the opposite. This week has been just plain bad there. Go accuracy!
but to dial that in, you may feel like you're going against the grain of something -- the 'right way' of doing things, the prevailing opinion of the crowd, or your own typically reserved way of relating to the world.
Actually, me going against "the right way" and "the prevailing opinion" and me being reserved are exactly what the problem is.
The one thing I suggest you remember is how much preparation you have. You are not a neophyte, though you may have the feeling of stretching your talent as far as it will go -- that's the place you want to be. That's exactly how you stretch across the inner divide into new territory. What may be unsettling to you is the sense of your own dark emotions moving around -- desire, passion, anger, need -- and these may seem to blow back at you, or reverberate within you. This is what you might call a distortion of the ego, perceiving itself. Relax -- how you feel in your moments of doubt is not how you're perceived by others.
Uh... I have no idea what the heck this is talking about. Though I am pretty sure I am perceived as badly as I've been told I am this week, so...
I guess this is accurate in the bad angst I am having go on, but otherwise, uh, I dunno.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) -- Beneath all the mental activity is a situation that pertains directly to the way that your mother's emotions weigh on your ability to feel like you're at home on the planet.
Hahahahahah, see, that one is accurate.
Manipulation between mothers and daughters is a tricky subject, and few like to talk about it -- but I suggest you be aware of the whole topic, because it seems destined to make itself known. You can, if you want, heal this situation, but I can tell you it's more likely to feel like a violent outburst than it is like a trip on a healing table. The violent aspect is not literal but rather the result of a mental effect where your anger and your thoughts reverberate in your mind. Do your best to keep things on the level of emotion rather than thoughts. If you're thinking in circles, go deeper and feel -- you'll set yourself free and make contact with the way you've felt confined in the past. And that, simply, is the compulsion to push your feelings up to your mind. You're now putting them back where they belong.
deep, traumatic, horrendous, scary, and disappointing but starting this weekennd
Aquarius and Pisces
will be ruling Venus and Mars
for a while so
you gotta lighten up
You just gotta.
You have to embrace the fact that the Universe may be directing the flow of your so-called karma and there is a lot that has come before that has brought you to this point But this is a point of change and you are moving forward albeti reluctantly in many cases but YOU DO HAVE OPTIONS
