I don't get it.

So, meet "Jay-Z's Penpal." It's a dude who somehow got ahold of Jay-Z's e-mail address and writes him stuff. And according to a totally legal e-mail tracker, apparently Jay-Z actually like, reads them!

What's wrong with this picture? As far as one can tell, Jay-Z doesn't write back.

Call me crazy, and it's been a long time since the 80's when pen pals were in vogue, but I seem to recall that a requirement of having a pen pal was that they uh, both wrote and sent stuff. I mean, I guess it's nice that this fellow can tell it's not going directly to the spam filter, and I guess that's the best you can expect from writing someone famous in general, but...

I dunno, it still seems a little sad to me.
