Best Internet Variety Show (and Good Luck Getting Anything Done, Ever) in 2005!

Much as I hate to say, "Wow, that ripped off the movie," that....ripped off the movie.
"Rabbits: They Really Do Move Around and Play and Stuff
If you put an animal in a box, why doesn’t it do anything
entertaining? If you’re like many Americans, the answer may surprise
you! Or it may not, if a very strident bunny owner can’t stop pointing
it out at brunch. Either way, this is your chance to explore the
seemingly counterintuitive relationship between space and movement. Study materials will be provided in advance."
"Seven years ago, I wrote this story about Battle Mountain, Nev., which I called The Armpit of America. I am thinking it might be time to find the country's SECOND armpit. I'd like nominations here. Tell me the worst place you've ever been in the United States, and why it was so bad, in 100 words or fewer." (Washington Post)
More Gael....
"Princess Anne is still wearing the dress
she wore to Diana and Charles' 1981 wedding. That means she's
wearing
the same dress at ages 57 and age 30. And, as Ann wisely points out,
the dress didn't get any better looking, either.
I found it
interesting that so many of the commentors on the BBC site praise her
frugality. In the U.S., that article would have turned into a dogfight
with people screaming about "who cares about one dress when the royals
are getting all our $$ for doing nothing?" and pointing out that
rewearing one dress is nothing considering the richness of the rest of
her life."
Gael finds A LOT OF BAD CAKES HOLY DAYUM.
