Progress report, day 2 of the KO

Hours worked today: approximately 9.

Finished: full 20 inches of back (back is done!), 2 inches of one sleeve. (That's total finished, with yesterday's total added to that.)

I knitted through three hours of class today, which the teacher didn't mind (lotta hand downtime). I pretty much knitted all day, except for eating/showering/walking/going to the gym/shopping intervals.

I felt good. Until I saw Mac's progress on the same sweater. Then I felt lame! Course, she didn't leave the house all day and I did, too.

I did notice something a tad bit disturbing today: I'm wearing tan pants and knitting with Hot Red Red Heart (shut up, I bought it for that Red Sweaters project, I've got a gigantic amount of it and it should be just enough for sleeves) yarn, and it...sheds a little. Just a tad. Probably not enough for anyone else but me to notice. It adds a mere blush to my pants.

But still, shedding? Ergh.

Btw, it is also not NEARLY as orange-y looking as it comes out in the photos.
