Sadly, there will be no photos here again for a long ass time, what with computer death and all. Dammit.
But I am taking a soapmaking class for a couple of weekends. We didn't end up doing the messy lye stuff (which to be honest, I don't look forward to ) this week, but we did do glycerine soap, which is incredibly damn easy to make. Melt some glycerine in a cup, sprinkle in some dye/glitter/scent, pour it in a mold, stick mold in the fridge, and voila, soap!
Okay, so trying to put objects in didn't go so well for me, particularly trying to put little pieces of soap within bigger soap, but I still came out with enough to hand out as gifts. Huzzah.
