I've never really liked purling anyway, but it is COMPLETELY SCREWING ME when it comes to the #!2 skirt FROM HELL.
I thought I was doing okay at it, right? I had to take out about two inches for screwups during vacation, sigh, but that still left me like 4-5.
Then last night I discovered there were some dropped stitches. One of which was about 3/4 of an inch away from the BOTTOM OF THE DAMN THING. Why did I not notice this? Because all the mistakes are on the purled side, so I don't notice when a stitch drops or is put in incorrectly. I FUCKING HATE THE PURL STITCH.
Yes, I had to take 95% of it so far OUT. I am pretty close to just giving up on this damn thing again with its tiny needles and slowness. Or just starting over the Saturday In The Park dress, since I got new yarn on vacation to make it in. That, at least, promises to be done in bigger needles.
