From Lindsayism, November 11:
"I was intrigued by the premise of this show at first because of something I call The Theory of Compensation, which states that: "All interesting people are so because at some point in their lives they were forced to become interesting." That's why people who were always rich and pretty are the most boring people in the world, (except when they make sex tapes.) And people who, um, wore huge glasses and memorized poetry for fun and were only allowed to listen to Christian music and had to use their babysitting money to buy any clothes that were remotely cool...are much more fun when they grow up. To, uh, use a hypothetical example or whatever."
