Talk about speedy!

I got my gerbil! And I only just paid a few days ago! That was fast!

Per requirement of "must be given an adorable name," she is Snickerdoodle.

Incidentally, I brought Snickerdoodle along to show a friend when we went out to dinner. Said friend (hi Jess, should you ever see this, hah) is now taking Snickerdoodle to Monterey for a few days to take hopefully dirty pictures in pleasant locations. Hee.

Once upon a time...

I saw this, and thought, "Hey, I bet I could figure out how to do that." I couldn't find a pattern for such a thing, but I thought I could improvise one myself.

This is what I came up with. I made the back, then the bottom, then the front piece, and put them together. At first, it looks fairly normal. Well, it doesn't look normal in this picture, but when I've showed it to people in person, they've been all, "Hey, that looks GREAT!"

But, uh, not so much when you actually put the iPod IN it...
