I'm happy with how 3 of the 4 came out. Gee, guess which one didn't come out so well.

The far left photo is a "scrunch", and I plan to make that into a skirt or something. I tried tying off little ends on the "Use Your Hands" shirt to make rosettes, which you can kind-of-but-not-really see. But the shirt came out pretty anyway, so I don't really care. And I love the spiral shirt.

I thought it was fun to learn how to make the star pattern, but it came out so unevenly on the dying that it's rather frustrating. I don't know what to do with it.

And I finally finished the wrap top.

Here's what it's supposed to look like, and how it came out on me.
Yes, I am cutting my head off in this photo because my head looked godawful in that shot. (Note to self: don't let anyone talk you into smiling with teeth Ever Again.) It's not bad, though someone did ask me why I didn't make it in a smaller size. Uh, because my damn boobs don't fit into a smaller size and I apparently have to make everything extra-large for the tits *sigh*.
It actually doesn't look that bulky in real life, there's more waist definition than you can see in the pic.

Ho-hum, what to do.

I hate the change in seasons.

I am currently working on a knitted jacket. It's going surprisingly fast, as I've done the fronts and back already. It's the last thing in my "to be knitted" pile o' yarn.

And after that, what do I do? By the time I finish the jacket I'll get to wear it a time or two before it gets too cold to wear it. And what do I work on now that my list of to-do's is done?

The annoying thing is that the stuff I want to do still is all lightweight spring/summer wear, and if I make that now it'll never leave the house until spring. So I HAVE to switch to a warm sweater or something. And I am just not in the mood.

Nor am I in the mood to order MORE yarn because I can't find what I want in person anywhere. This is irritating.

As for sewing, there are projects I want to do, but I'd have to hit a fabric store first. Gah. And again, within a month or two it'll be too cold to wear that stuff.

I was reading a website awhile back and saw that people were looking for a tutorial on how to make the Kara Janx kimono dress from Project Runway. I like the dress myself, but it's pretty expensive and apparently, very hard to get ahold of! So I thought I'd try my hand at making a T-shirt version.

And my final airbrush class...

was ripping off of a picture of this castle. It came out all right, pretty cute.

My airbrushed eye.

I got the idea in class last night to do an airbrushed eye, because I have always thought those were really pretty.

Here's a few shots of the eye in progress. You use masks in order to spray it- think stenciling, but you put the cut-out parts back onto the design in order to keep it safe after you've sprayed a part.

And here's how it came out. Pretty, eh? I'm kind of amused wearing it- it's like "You can stare at 'em, but they'll stare right back..."
