Hat construction, part two

Years ago, I tried to copy a hat I own (which others wish they could own, but it's sold nowhere) and made it reversible for a friend. Another friend would also like the hat. I couldn't find any photos of the original one, but I think I've figured it out. I used this pattern, but made a larger brim (34 rows total).

I crocheted two hats and sewed them together at the color band to anchor it together,

 and then crocheted the two brims together.

I'm still not having a photogenic head day, so here's my head model again.
