Continued from here.
Here's the patterns from weeks 3 and 4.
There was a bit of a buzzkill when the podcast had to end because Carlos came down with coronavirus. I quietly freaked out on that one. He seems to be doing better, though, fingers crossed.
I'm sad the knitalong is mostly over (except for the instructions as to how to sew it together, they haven't done that yet), it's been adorable. Sometimes I've finished squares more quickly than others depending on my level of distraction, but ah well. Individual squares are below the spoiler cut.
I'm enjoying knitalongs, and am now doing a Pandemic knitalong, but so far it's not too interesting to photograph, so maybe later.
I used a lot of a rainbow ball of yarn in this. This one was using the rainbow as the base and then teal as the detail. It may have blended together a bit too much in the middle.
In this case, I did the rainbow as the detail and purple as the background. Same kind of issue with "surprise blend in the middle."
Again, I used another multicolor yarn as the detail and it surprise-blended a bit too much. Oh well.
This one at least stands out. I learned eventually :P
Ditto.
Again, don't know if this color combination worked so great, but what the heck.
These last two are my favorites, of course:
Same rainbow yarn again. It really does do completely different colors per each piece depending on gradaition.
And I love this bear, even though I don't think it photographed so well any of the times I tried it.
